In enterprise EU data centres in the Netherlands, on dedicated servers that we own or lease. Your site, its databases, your mailboxes and our encrypted backups are stored in the EU, under EU law, and your site is served straight from those servers — it does not sit behind the edge network that fronts our own websites. Email you send, from a mailbox or from your site, goes out to its recipients through an outbound relay provider. That relay, and the tools we use to run this website and to answer your messages, are a separate question: our Subprocessors page names every provider we use, where it processes data, and the safeguard that applies.

Of course. Choose 1, 12 or 24 months at checkout, and cancel renewal whenever you like; the service runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. A 12 or 24-month term renews for the same term at the renewal price shown on your plan. When a cancelled service ends, we suspend it rather than delete it: the site goes offline, mailboxes are locked, and incoming mail is held for about four days, then returned to its senders. Fourteen days later the account is deleted for good, with its files, databases and all its mail; until then, ask us and we can restore it or send you a copy. To be safe, move or export your mail before the cancellation date. And if a new plan turns out not to be for you, our 30-day money-back guarantee refunds the hosting fee on that first order (if your plan came with a free domain, its regular price is deducted and the domain stays yours for its year) — one email to billing@maxinodes.com within 30 days. It covers your first order rather than renewals or third-party extras. No setup fees on either line.

Yes. Every plan includes mailboxes on your own domain: each plan's card shows how many, and the comparison table on this page shows how large each one can be. Use them in any mail app over IMAP or POP3, or in webmail in your browser. Spam is filtered into your Junk folder, and mailboxes share your plan's storage.
